Brandon was introduced to the game of golf at the age of 7 years old when his grandfather took him to his first golf lesson at Riverview Golf and C.C. in his hometown of Redding CA. But it wasn’t until he was 21 years old that he really fell in love with the game when he moved to Phoenix Arizona to attend The San Diego Golf Academy (Phoenix Campus).
While there, Brandon was able to learn different skills in:
- Club fitting/building
- Golf course maintenance
- Accounting
- Golf course design
- Food and beverage
- Teaching
Brandon graduated with honors in his class obtaining a GPA of 3.8 and receiving his AA in Golf Complex Management.
Upon Graduation Brandon turned Professional and received his first Golf position becoming an Assistant Golf Professional back in his hometown of Redding CA at Riverview Golf and C.C. After 5 years there Brandon went on to work at a Sevillano Links a resort in Corning CA. After that, He took some time away from the golf business entirely working at a beverage distributer as a salesman for the energy drink Red Bull. After getting word the beverage distributor was selling, Brandon then got a once in a lifetime opportunity to play on mini tours such as the Outlaw, Dakota and Asher tour. Competing in places like California, Arizona, Oregon, North and South Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa. After Three years of competing, he was then given the opportunity to obtain his first Head Golf Professional position at Shield Crest Golf Club where he is an apprentice working on achieving his Class A membership to the PGA.
